Leap Into Leadership
Leadership Action Plan
Helping others through change is critical for leaders at all levels especially during times of crisis and uncertainty. I think this time qualifies! Fortunately, we know that while change is an event, the human response to change is a process, a psychological response which takes time. Understanding and acceptance of the ways people frame change is critical to the eventual outcome. For 50 years, management and organizational practitioners have speculated that personal and organizational transitions follow predictable patterns or stages, that if understood, could enable leaders to more effectively and efficiently help others through times of tremendous change.
We know that giving people information, support, encouragement and reinforcement are keys to helping them manage during times of transition. Please join me next Thursday, April 2 at 11:00am Pacific Time for a 45 minute webinar to learn about a time tested, four-step change process model that people managers can use to support their teams through change. Thoroughly explore the long-range consequences of a change with your teams.
